Replace a road without rebuilding the whole route

  1. Open Roads and select the new street type.
  2. Select Replace mode in the left panel. Inspect the highlighted scope.
  3. Review whether tram tracks and bus lanes should be kept, added or removed.
  4. Hold Shift when you need to operate on individual sections.
  5. After replacing the road, inspect the line path and junction turns.

What catenary means

Catenary is the overhead wiring used by electric rail vehicles. The track Tools tab can add or remove it. Check the whole intended path, including station tracks and the depot connection, rather than only the main stretch.

The same road Tools area offers tram-track and bus-lane modifications. Avoid widening every street at once: trace the queue to its first blocked turn and work there.
