Follow the complete handoff
- Choose a ship that accepts the actual cargo and can reach its landing.
- Check the receiving port’s connection and nearby storage, where a transfer is needed.
- Set up the onward route to a district or factory that currently accepts the cargo.
- Watch both legs. More ships cannot repair a missing onward consumer.

When fish will not unload
Read the stock and destination demand first. If the route ends at a transfer warehouse, inspect its Goods module and the onward line. If it ends near a town, confirm that town currently asks for fish. A port placed near a town is not itself a fish consumer.
